Support and training

We’re always keen to develop our people, and training is an important part of that.

Whether it’s fork lift training so drivers can help the customers on-site, CPC training or medicals, we want our team to be equipped with the tools they need to take pride in their work.

We’re proud of the long service of our drivers. The value they place on their role at Bradshaws is given back in the way they are looked after here, which means they often stay with us for decades.

As well as our family ethos, support and training, our drivers have direct access to our in-house servicing, meaning they can deal with issues swiftly and have the best driving experience possible.

Trust

Trust is a key part of how we work together. Everyone at Bradshaws has a voice and is listened to.

We’re service lead, so our office team are practical with schedules and set realistic expectations on our drivers and their deliveries. Our drivers also get to make the best call on the route they take and collaborate with one another to share tips, routes and places to avoid.

Focused schedules and planning

Being messed around is a driver’s biggest pain point – turning up somewhere for a specific time and goods not being ready, or simply not being informed of changes. Drivers want reliability.

Our office team are detailed-driven and work hard to build practical schedules that don’t need to change, and when they do, they keep our drivers informed and up to date – so everyone knows what they are doing and when.
